Beyond Slime: A Voice for Palestine

I’ve shared so much through this blog, my story, my journey, my dreams, and of course, my love for slime. But there’s something I’ve never written about before. I am Palestinian.
Why does that matter? Because while those of us outside Palestine do our best to survive, build, and move forward with our lives, there’s a constant weight we carry, a duty to speak up for those inside who cannot. A duty to keep their voices alive.
Working in slime is all about spreading joy. It brings comfort, smiles, and excitement to kids everywhere. And while I love what I do, I cannot ignore the reality that right now, as I write this, children in Gaza are suffering. They are homeless. Intentionally killed, starved, orphaned, and left terrified.
No child, from any place or background, should ever have to face fear, hunger, or war
They deserve to play, just like our children.
They deserve safety, just like our families.
They deserve love, nourishment, and the freedom to dream.
I know this blog post will not change the world. But staying silent is not an option. The very least I can do is use my voice—use this platform—to remind the world about the children of Palestine and the innocent people in Gaza. Please do not forget them. Please talk about them. Please keep their stories alive.
Because their lives matter. Their joy matters. Their future matters.
Love,
Lana K.
